Festival Chorus Concert tonight - Sun 12 Dec - 7pm.
Fanny Mendelssohn 'Musik für die Toten der Cholera Epidemie' - 1831. Felix Mendelssohn 'Hymn of Praise' - 1840. Free entry, retiring collection.
No Evening Prayer Sun 12 Dec at 4pm as the Festival Chorus are rehearsing for their evening convert.
As Shana is away, and Andrew is off on Wednesdays, there will also be no Morning or Evening Prayer in church on Wed 15 Dec.
On Friday 17 Dec, Shana is away and Andrew is involved in helping with the interviewing of a new Archdeacon of Hackney, 8.15am-12.15pm. Consequently there will be no Morning Prayer or 12 noon Eucharist this week. Many apologies. Do please pray for the interviewing.
We'd like to invite our children and young people to stay behind for a few minutes after the morning service next week, on Sunday 19 December to plant some bulbs in the churchyard. (Thanks to the church garden gang for working so hard to weed the beds!).
Next Sunday, 19 Dec, we'll also be putting up many of the church Christmas decorations. If you have time to help with that immediately after the 10am service that would be wonderful.
Christmas & New Year Services
For these we're asking for people to wear masks and - if at all possible -
to take a lateral flow test that day.
- Parish Carol Service on Sunday 19 Dec at 6pm.
- Crib Service at 4pm on Christmas Eve, Fri 24 Dec.
- Midnight Mass, service starts at 11pm on Christmas Eve, Fri 24 Dec.
- Christmas Day service is at 10.30am on Sat 25 Dec.
- Sunday Service on Sun 26 December is at the normal time of 10am
- New Year's Eve - Watch Night Service. 11pm on Fri, 31.12.21.

The next church cleaning will be on Saturday 8 January, 9.30-11.30am. Please note, no church cleaning on New Year's Day, 1 Jan.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in the Hymnathon - over £2,000 was raised. Some donations are still coming in.
If you would like to sing with Victoria at 7pm on a Wednesday, please speak with her at the end of the service today. On Wednesdays, please use the side, kitchen door (rather than the main entrance).
We are keen to keep our Sunday morning Junior Church going but are looking for more volunteers to either lead or assist to make this possible. If you'd like to know more, please speak with Estelle or Susan.
Shana would like to start up a club for our young people, but she needs a second adult. To find our more, please speak with Shana.
We are re-establishing serving at the altar. If you would like to become an altar server, please have a word with Andrew or Shana. All Welcome!
Free Will Offering yellow envelopes for the year ahead are available to collect at the back of church. Please could you print your name next to the envelope number you are collecting (or cross your name off the list if you no longer wish to donate using this scheme). Standing Order forms are also available.
